This semester, we organized two service events. For one of our events, our sisters collected non-perishable food items for the Ithaca Kitchen Cupboard, a local food pantry that has been serving the Ithaca community for over 50 years. Thank you to all who donated and aided in the success of the food drive! Find out more about the Ithaca Kitchen Cubpoard organization here.
Willow's Wings is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary in upstate New York. The sanctuary homes a number of animals from dogs and cats to horses and peacocks, some of whom are adoptable and some of whom are permanent residents. Willow Sullivan runs the sanctuary along with Tim Davis and volunteers. Find out more about Willow's Wings here.

For our other service event, our sisters cut up t-shirts and made dog and cat toys for the numerous members of her dog crew and cat colony.

Pictured above, from left to right, are the dog and cat toys; two of our sisters with Peggy and Bean, two of the permanent residents of Willow's Wings, and Bean.

In the Fall 2020 semester, due to our continued online status, the members of the Alpha class elected to continue using Charity Miles as their community service event.

In the Spring 2020 semester, sisters either contributed to citizen science projects via Zooniverse or used Charity Miles to raise money for their selected organization. Due to lockdown, some sisters were unable to go on walks or runs, which is why we had two ongoing projects.
Zooniverse: Sisters completed 12 hours on Zooniverse, working on over 330 catalogs.
Charity Miles: Collectively, Rho Psi Eta has completed over 870 miles, raising money for Feeding America, Muscular Dystrophy Association, ASPCA, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and more.
