Hello! My name is Jasmine (she/her) and I'm a junior majoring in Computational Biology (CB) and minoring in Infectious Disease. With the Vaider Lab, I’m currently publishing a paper on ultrasound imaging in feline small intestines for the American Journal of Veterinary Radiology and Ultrasound. Outside of clubs, I work with OUB and the Cornell CB department to provide networking events for CB concentrators. I also volunteer under CARE at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine to socialize and groom laboratory dogs and cats. This summer, I'll be an intern at Project Healthcare at Bellevue Hospital, New York City's largest hospital for the underserved, and I hope to broaden my understanding of different underserved groups and the American healthcare system. In the future, I hope to work on epidemiological or infectious disease research and pursue a medical degree in the field. In my free time, I like gaming, taking walks at the Botanical garden, listening to music, digital drawing, and hanging out with friends.
