Esha Shakthy is a freshman from Cary, NC, studying Nutritional Sciences in the College of Human Ecology. She is a Rawlings Cornell Presidential Research Scholar and is a research assistant for the MycoBuilt program, a cross-disciplinary research collaboration at Cornell. Esha is a certified EMT-B and a squad member on CU EMS. She is an advocate for food equity and a program ambassador for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina. In her spare time, she loves cycling, rowing, dance, and theatre, and is a part of Cornell’s Big Red Raas dance team. Esha is excited to be part of Rho Psi Eta, collaborating with like-minded sisters, working for a better future!
